Alberto Daina
Managing Partner
Alberto Daina is a graduate in Economics and Business Studies from the Università Cattolica in Milan. Since 1993, he has worked between Milan and London at Banca Akros, at Caboto and then at Abaxbank with managerial roles in the Equity & Debt Capital Market sectors.
His in-depth experience in the field of stock exchange placements (“Small & Mid-Caps”) and Financial Advisory for M&A transactions; forging strong collaborative relationships with principal Italian and International Private Equity players.
Between 2009 and 2011, he was tasked with managing the Corporate Portfolio of Banca MB Spa, a private merchant bank based in Milan, in Extraordinary Administration as per the directives of the Commissioners of the Banca d’ Italia. During this period he was responsible for managing the loans given by the bank to corporate clients as part of a thorough restoration of the portfolio in accordance with the directives of the Supervisory Body, aimed at protecting current account holders, the social partners and the clients to whom loans have been extended.
Once the procedure had concluded in 2011, he decided to start up a new entrepreneurial project in financial advisory, ending up in the incorporation Movent.
Alberto Franchino
Managing Partner
Alberto Franchino is an honours graduate in Corporate Economics from the Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan. In 1987, he first worked with Arthur Andersen & Co. (audit) and then Arca Merchant (merchant bank controlled by the Italian cooperative banks) where, from 1989 to 1995, he worked as a financial analyst and then as M&A manager.
After an experience as Chief Financial Officer of a chemical company, he took part in 1997 in the creation of the private equity division of Interbanca, a merchant bank listed on the stock exchange, where he managed various transactions and acted as a member of the board of directors in the companies invested in.
In 2002 he took part in the start-up of Industria & Finanza SGR, a management company promoted by the Investimenti e Partecipazioni family office (Denegri group), who through the “IF Investimenti” fund carried out various investment transactions (both majority and minority shareholdings). In 2013, he joined the board of directors of Investimenti e Partecipazioni as Senior Advisor for the search and management of investment opportunities.
In 2017 he joined Movent as Managing Partner.
Patrizia Giorgetti
Senior Advisor
Graduated in Sociology with specialization in business organization and Executive Master in Business Administration in Bologna, Patrizia gains a solid professional experience in the Corporate Finance area and in particular in the field of Finance and Treasury, management control, reporting, credit management, corporate affairs and legal and fiscal areas, both at Italian industrial companies, managing corporate reorganizations and internationalization, and at multinational corporations.
She matured specific experience in companies owned by private equity funds and in M&A deals.
From 1990 to 1999 she is CFO of KONE Italia and from 2000 to 2006 she holds the position of Group CFO of SEA (European Autocaravan company)
Then from 2006 to 2011 she is Financial & HR Director of the Italian branch of the American group APTAR and from 2011 to 2016 she becomes CFO, HR, IT and Legal manager at Ghibli S.p.A.
After an experience as C.O.O. at Giocoplast Natale S.p.A., from 2018 to 2021 she is Group CFO, HR, M&A manager at Prismi S.p.A., a digital company listed at the Italian Stock Exchange
Alberto Bassi
Senior Advisor
Alberto Bassi is an accomplished Italian entrepreneur and manager with extensive experience in the fintech and tech industries.
He co-founded BacktoWork in 2012, a leading fintech platform for tech company investments. Under his leadership as CEO, BacktoWork became a premier club deal platform in Italy, assisting numerous startups and scaleups in raising significant funds and was eventually acquired by Intesa Sanpaolo, one of Europe's largest banks.
Previously, Alberto was the Partner and CEO of Borile Motociclette, where he revitalized the historic Italian motorcycle brand and expanded its market reach internationally. His expertise spans digital marketing, CRM, and financial management.
Alberto holds a Master’s degree in Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano. Currently, he provides consultancy services to startups and SMEs on fundraising and M&A activities and oversees a real estate club deal.
